Freshwater Village Construction Update

Apr 16
1 min read

Great progress is continuing at Freshwater Village, thanks to Tomkins. Recent fine weather is helping the build team move ahead at a good pace.

Here’s what’s been happening on site:

  • Brays Road upgrades progressing well – the northern side is now complete, allowing traffic to be redirected while works begin on the southern side.

  • Improved access for public transport users – a brand-new entry from the designated Brays Road bus stop into the centre is now in place, making visits easier for bus travellers.

  • Medical Centre taking shape – the lower level will be concreted over the coming week, with the upper floor installation to follow shortly after.

  • Essential infrastructure advancing – stormwater drainage connections are nearing completion.

  • Dining precinct preparations underway – trade waste facilities are currently being installed to support future food operators.

  • Woolworths build milestone – roofing has now been completed.

  • Internal works coming soon – installation of Woolworths’ internal flooring will begin as soon as in-ground services are finalised, with this work already well underway.

Momentum is building across the entire site, bringing Freshwater Village one step closer to opening. Stay tuned for more updates as construction continues to progress.
