I started the business in 2015. In 2018, I was committed full-time.

2. What inspired you to start your business?

I hated my job at the time (I was an accountant). I loved the outdoors and decided to get into the business of selling high-end outdoor goods.

3. If you could speak to your younger self, just starting, what advice would you give him?

Do something that you love. Also, something that inspires you and others.

4. Why did you decide to become a business owner?

I wanted to be my boss. Also, I was passionate about the outdoors and providing high-quality outdoor goods to our customers.

5. How did you come up with the name of your business?

The name came from a National Park in Western QLD named Alton National Park.

6. Who are your primary competitors?

I don’t have any direct competitors as the products I have are high end outdoor wear and equipment.
