Four ingredients, so many possibilities – the age of craft beer is coming with Hip Hops Brewers joining The Sheds at Brendale in 2022.
Hip Hops Brewers are a group of passionate beer lovers, business partners and mates with a focus on producing balanced quality local brews.
Shaun Reeves, Accountant and Hip Hops Brewers co-owner said their mantra was to brew local beer so that people not only enjoy good beer, but they love it.
“We hope to experiment with wild ferments and to collaborate with other regional breweries and producers to bring Brendale quality and balanced brews.
“You may not always notice a bad beer, but you will really appreciate a balanced beer when the malt and hops are in harmony, the flavour dances across your taste buds, the smile on your face has come from your stomach and you can’t help but say life is good,” he said.
Shaun said Hip Hops intended to add a cider to their menu on top of an already growing list of beers including the brewer Adam Gibb’s classic White Brick brews.
The Hip Hops Brewery will join The Sheds at Brendale, developed by Wattle Run to create a sense of place within the North Brisbane community.
Jenny Fisher, Director of Wattle Run said their vision for The Sheds was to create a vibrant destination where artisan producers could not only use the commercial spaces for production but also offer a front of house service directly to the community.
“The Hip Hops Brewers are the perfect fit for Shed 3 and we’re excited to welcome them to The Sheds and our local community.
“Shed 3 is set to be transformed into the Hip Hops Brewery in the coming weeks with construction starting next month,” she said.
When the brewery is up and running later this year, it will be easy to spend a day or night or both with friends sampling beer from the 18 taps in the taproom.
“While Brendale has traditionally been very industrial, we believe it is about to come of age as the next emerging entertainment area.
“The Sheds are the perfect spot for a busy brewery with a taproom, outdoor canopy area and landscaped gardens creating the ideal place for a drink with family and friends,” Shaun said.
